Step into line dancing for fun and wellness benefits

JOYFUL LINE DANCE

The Joyful Line Dance meets on Thursdays from 10 a.m.-noon in Clubhouse 2. Everyone must register to attend. Membership fee is $20 per calendar year. People must check in at the front desk before taking a class.

Each class is divided into two parts with a break in between. The first hour is for beginners and intermediate dancers and includes an easy-to-follow routine under the guidance of Albert Comia. The second hour is for advanced dancers, guided by Karen Kei, including the dances learned over the past few months. Each month, the members also learn a new dance. It makes the classes more exciting and boosts memory and physical activity.

On Thursday, July 10, the club will have a summer dance party in Clubhouse 2 from 10 a.m.-noon with a group photo-op and bento box lunch (Korean Dosirak). The cost to attend the party is $20. All members are encouraged to sign up at the front desk.
