No injuries in flood channel car crash
On Aug. 4 at approximately 1:30 p.m. a Mutual 12 resident drove her 2000 Toyota Avalon into the flood channel running along Golden Rain Road, near the Main Gate.
Paramedics, police and GRF Security responded to the scene. The driver was uninjured, and paramedics transported her home.
After a brief road closure, a tow truck removed the vehicle from the channel and regular traffic resumed. A section of chain link fence that was damaged by the collision was repaired on Aug. 7.
