Free golf cart maintenance offered March 8
ROLLIN' THUNDER GOLF CART CLUB
The semi-annual event is open to all LW cart owners
The Rollin’ Thunder Golf Club will hold its quarterly Air & Water Day on Saturday, March 8, weather permitting, in the Clubhouse 4 parking lot, from 8:30-10 a.m. Entrance to the cart line-up will be on the exit/alley roadway that connects North Gate Road on the east side of Clubhouse 3.
Club volunteers and Security staff will post directional signs and help maintain order.
Just like a car, golf carts need regular maintenance to help them last and ensure that they are safe to drive.
Club volunteers will check tire pressure and battery levels and fill them as needed. Many LW residents find these important activities difficult to accomplish. However, ignoring these two maintenance items can lead to blowouts, premature tire wear, steering accidents and golf carts not starting, or stalling in traffic.
There is never a charge for this valuable service, and all LW cart owners are urged to participate. Club membership is not required. No carts will be serviced after 10:30 a.m. If any Rollin’ Thunder Club members or residents want to volunteer at the event, they are welcome to join. The club’s new president, Roy Nakamura, can answer any questions or provide information to potential volunteers at 803-366-0362.
