Community Church Cancer Survivors Party is Feb. 14

The Theater Club and LW Community Church will join talents to host a Valentine’s Day party and luncheon for cancer survivors on Friday, Feb. 14, at noon in the Fellowship Hall of the Church. The church is located inside Leisure World by St. Andrews Gate at 14000 Church Place.

A lunch will include a sandwich, potato salad, fresh fruit, chips and dessert. Beverages will be served. Valentinethemed games will be available for entertainment. Singers from Theater Club will perform. Charla Gae, musical director of the Theater Club and Cabaret, will be in charge of the music.

This party is for people who currently have or survived cancer, their caregivers, and those who want to honor a loved one they lost. The attendance is free but reservations are required by calling Taylor White at 562-666-7570. Leave a name and a phone number for a call back to confirm the reservation. Reservations can be made until Feb. 7 on a firstcome, first-served basis.
