Hearing Loss Association of America

Members and guests of the Long Beach/Lakewood Chapter of Hearing Loss Association of America are invited to attend a showing of Unheard Voices by Gael Hannan on Thursday, Jan. 9, from 4-5 p.m. It will be held at the Weingart Center, 5220 Oliva Ave., Lakewood, 90712.

Hannon is a renowned humorist, advocate, author and speaker on hearing loss issues. Attendees will get a different perspective on hearing loss after a glimpse into this video.

The chapter’s meeting on Feb. 13 will feature in-person speakers and a PowerPoint for people with hearing loss, named “Are You Prepared for an Emergency?”

The monthly meetings are held in-person and via Zoom at https://Shorturl.at/3Wjp1. They are friendly and free.

People can ask questions, find solutions and meet others, and learn about technology that makes living with hearing loss easier.
