Hours changing at the St. Andrews and North gates

The hours at the St. Andrews and North gates are changing as of Monday, Jan. 6. New hours are 7 a.m.-8 p.m.on weekdays and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The Main Gate will remain open 24 hours a day.

The pedestrian gates at both locations will still be opened at 5:45 a.m. and close at 10:45 p.m.

The GRF Board voted Oct. 22 to reduce operating hours at the North and St. Andrews gates in an effort to aiming to cut costs ahead of passing a 2025 budget that included a hefty increase in assessments. Upon the recommendation of the Operations Committee, the board voted to approve the closure of the two gates. A recent analysis found that gate traffic sharply declined after 7 p.m. with only an average of 5-10 vehicles entering the gates after 9 p.m.
