Join the picnic July 26 at CH 1
CONGREGATION SHOLOM
People are welcome to join Congregation Sholom’s summer picnic on Sunday, July 26, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at the picnic area outside of Clubhouse 1. There will be kosher burgers and hot dogs, plus vegetarian burgers, along with potato salad, watermelon and drinks. There will also be a 50/50 drawing with cash prizes and other surprises as well.
The cost for the picnic $15 per person. People do not have to bring a dish, just friends. People should RSVP to Murray Pollack at murrjet@yahoo.com by the end of the day today, July 23. People who want a vegetarian burger should include their preference in the email to Pollack.
Today, July 23, Congregation Sholom also will join Temple Beth Emet in Anaheim for Tisha B’ Av services at 9:30 a.m. The temple is located at 1770 W. Cerritos Ave., Anaheim, CA, 92804. Carpools will be available from the Clubhouse 4 parking lot at 8:40.
On Friday, July 24, Rabbi Karen Isenberg will lead services via Zoom at 6:30 p.m. Rabbi Mike Mymon will lead the hybrid service on Saturday, July 25, in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, and on Zoom at 10 a.m. To receive a Zoom invitation, contact Jeff Sacks at 714-642-0122.
