The Commercial
I can’t remember the product, only what he said.
“I have more days behind me than I have ahead.”
I perked up. Wait, what did he say? He didn’t use the word dead.
And yet I was left feeling sudden, shocking, dread. I too have fewer days ahead, so now what do I do? I can’t pretend I didn’t hear his words describe me too. I gave it thought and thought some more, for days. What could I do, to change the way I look at life and find a better view? Perhaps I’ll be more conscious as I move throughout each day. perhaps I’ll be more conscious of the things I do and say. And maybe then perhaps I’ll live a lifetime each new day.
