Election Day is Tuesday, June 2

STATEWIDE PRIMARY

The 2026 Statewide Primary Election is underway and Election Day is Tuesday, June 2. Registered voters have several options to vote.

Important dates are as follows:

• May 30: Beginning three days before Election Day and continuing up to June 2, additional vote centers will open to the public at locations countywide.

• June 2: On Election Day, vote centers will operate at the extended hours of 7 a.m.-8 p.m.

In order to dispel rumor and misinformation, GRF contacted the Orange County Registrar of Voters for clarification. To vote in the community, here are the options:

• Mail your ballot via USPS. • Use the official Ballot Drop Box, located near the bus station at the Amphitheater.

• Vote in person at Fire Station 48 (3131 North Gate Road, Seal Beach) or the Los Alamitos Senior Center (10911 Oak St., Los Alamitos).

• Ask someone else to mail, deposit in the drop box, or hand deliver your ballot within three days to a vote center or the Orange County Registrar’s Office in Santa Ana.

Pursuant to Elections Code section 3011(a)(11), a person to whom a voter entrusts their vote-by-mail ballot to return to the county elections official must include their signature on the return vote-by-mail envelope. That individual is also required to provide their name and relationship to the voter. (Elec. Code, § 3011(a)(9)-(11).)
