Traveling Tigers will discuss Algeria and Tunisia
The Traveling Tigers will meet Wednesday, Feb. 15, at noon in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. There will be a potluck at noon, the business meeting will be at 1 where the group will be filling the two vacant positions on the board.
The presentation will begin at approximately 1:30, and the topic will be Edward Hickman’s trip to Algeria and Tunisia. Traveling there in November, he visited the capitol cities
Cribbage Club
Donna Morgan provided delicious cake and ice cream to celebrate her birthday with the Cribbage Club on Jan. 17. She served red velvet or German chocolate cake with a choice of ice cream flavors. Carrie Kistner and Margaret Smith assisted her as she served all 47 members present.
The club congratulates Joanne Lester who earned her first star with a perfect score of 847. Second place went to Susan
Art League
The guest demonstrator for the Art Leauge meeting in Clubhouse4onTuesday,Feb.14, will be Janet Roberts. Janet was an art and physical education major at the University of Redlands, where she earned her teaching credential in 1970. She taught art and advanced placement art for over 38 years at Walnut High school, Diamond Bar High School and Chino Hills High School before retiring eight years ago. She
Community Karaoke
Anna Le never misses Wednesday night’s karaoke. She has a powerful voice and engaged the audience while singing “Don’t Worry Baby.” Mariza Jouquin entertained the audience with “Dancing Queen.” With a strong husky voice, Ed Jablonski sang “Rainy Days and Sundays.”

Tournament Poker
The player of the year tournament was held Jan. 28. The winners of the weekly tournaments play for the Player of the Year. This year’s winner was Erica Greenwood, followed in second place by club secretary Debbie Barner and tournament director Tony Canfora.
Erica is a longtime member of the club and a longtime LW resident. She spends her spare time playing cards, karaoke, and the Doo Wop group.
