Cribbage Club

Donna Morgan provided delicious cake and ice cream to celebrate her birthday with the Cribbage Club on Jan. 17. She served red velvet or German chocolate cake with a choice of ice cream flavors. Carrie Kistner and Margaret Smith assisted her as she served all 47 members present.

The club congratulates Joanne Lester who earned her first star with a perfect score of 847. Second place went to Susan Dodson with 838. Donna Gorman and Wanda Bemden tied for third place with 836 and Franca Yeske and Mary Holder tied for fourth place with 833. Jesus Sosa won six out of seven games played.

Suzanne Frank celebrated a late birthday with Cribbage Club by providing cake and ice cream on Jan. 25. Margaret Smith assisted with serving at noon.

Winners this week were: Bobbie Straley, first, 846; Candy Meyers, second, 839; Eileen Dohl, third, 837; and Alma Zamzow, fourth, 834.

The club will hold a semiannual meeting Tuesday, Feb. 14. Sandwiches will be provided by the club and served to members beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Seven games of cribbage are played each Tuesday in Clubhouse 1 beginning at 12:30 p.m. and ending by 4 p.m. Refreshments to celebrate birthdays or other special occasions are donated by members.
