Halloween brought out the spooky spirit on Oct. 28 during the Community Karaoke Club’s weekly Wednesday night karaoke party, where a lively crowd enjoyed frightful favorites, dancing and plenty of sing-alongs. William Young, dressed as a skeleton, got the party rocking with “Ghostbusters.” Karen Morris kept the Halloween spirit alive with “Monster Mash,” while Lori Chamberlin took on “Thriller.” James Farr added a haunting touch with “Creep,” and the popular husband-and-wife team Bruce and Flo Lee delighted the audience with their rendition of “Phantom of the Opera.” The spirited crowd danced, sang along and joined in the Halloween fun.

Lucy Fitch added a nostalgic touch by showing off her Girl Scout uniform, complete with all the badges she earned as a young girl—a reminder of memories worth keeping.

Karaoke parties are held every Wednesday in Clubhouse 1 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. The room is filled with happy folks, some eager to take the microphone and others who simply enjoy the camaraderie.

Join the club’s Monday rehearsals from 1-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 6. With Veterans Day coming up on Nov. 11, patriotic songs would be a perfect choice to rehearse. Come join the fun.
