Scan and save wills and trusts for free
EMERGENCY INFORMATION COUNCIL
The Emergency Information Council will hold its 12th free vital document scanning event on Monday, Nov. 2, from 1:30-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 6.
Residents can bring wills, stock and membership certificates, medical power of attorney documents and other important papers to be scanned onto a thumb drive at no cost. Driver’s licenses and credit cards can be copied and scanned as well. The documents will be converted into a convenient form to easily fit in emergency go bags. Residents who have previously scanned documents onto a drive can bring additional documents to be scanned.
Those who don’t have a will or trust can drop by and receive information about how to create one for free.
