Community Karaoke Club

Karaoke parties are held every Wednesday evening in Clubhouse 1 from 5:30-9:30. Friendly rehearsal sessions are held Mondays in Clubhouse 6 from 1-3 p.m.

Karaoke is all about having fun, receiving encouragement from the audience, and enjoying the thrill of taking the microphone. The club doesn’t discriminate between experienced singers or karaoke newcomers—all are welcome to join the fun.

On Oct. 14, Lori Chamberlin and Donald Horning joined their talented voices for “White Christmas,” an early holiday favorite that introduced an exciting idea: adopting the Clubhouse 1 Christmas tree for the LW decorating contest. This year’s theme is “A Musical Holiday,” which is just perfect for the club. Andy Baker delivered the timeless hit “Lonesome Town,” while the relaxed Richard Yokomi entertained with “Easy.” Barbie May chose a smooth tune. About 30 folks shared the joy of music, proving that karaoke is about much more than talent.
