214-5061-2, Residency and Trust Property Use Fees PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at a duly held meeting of the Board of Directors conducted on Aug. 25, the Board approved to send out the following proposed rule change to the membership for 28-day review. The proposed rule change will be reviewed by the Board for adoption at its September meeting.
Purpose of Rule Change: The purpose of the revisions are to clarify the annual approval process, monthly allocation timing, fund-priority structure, shortfall treatment, and yearend reconciliation, which may affect cash-flow timing and fund distribution but do not appear to change total fee amounts directly.
37-1447-1, Use of Community Facilities PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at a duly held meeting of the Board of Directors conducted on Aug. 25, the Board approved to send out the following proposed rule change to the membership for 28-day review. The proposed rule change will be reviewed by the Board for adoption at its September meeting.
Purpose of Rule Change: The purpose of this rule change is to modify the opening hours of the Community Gardens, changing it from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. This was done due to complaints of early noise disrupting nearby residences.
48-1930-1, Traffic Rules PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at a duly held meeting of the Board of Directors conducted on Aug. 25, the Board approved to send out the following proposed rule change to the membership for 28-day review. The proposed rule change will be reviewed by the Board for adoption at its September meeting.
Purpose of Rule Change: The revisions are intended to align community rules with applicable California Vehicle Code and DMV requirements, and enhance overall safety for residents, pedestrians and staff.
48-5536-3, Vehicle and Pedestrian Gate Security PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at a duly held meeting of the Board of Directors conducted on Aug. 25, the Board approved to send out the following proposed rule change to the membership for 28-day review. The proposed rule change will be reviewed by the Board for adoption at its September meeting.
Purpose of Rule Change: The changes in the policy were made to align the policy with the procedures implemented by the Recreation Department regarding the Fourth of July Car Show as participating registrants are to be admitted through the North Gate for better ease of entry. The policy also now allows for visitors of special events to enter via Main Gate and South Gate.
48-5580-1, Entry Passes— Rules PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at a duly held meeting of the Board of Directors conducted on Aug. 25, the Board approved to send out the following proposed rule change to the membership for 28-day review. The proposed rule change will be reviewed by the Board for adoption at its September meeting.
Purpose of Rule Change: The policy was revised to provide clearer guidance to policy readers regarding the proper placement of parking passes. This clarification is intended to help prevent misunderstandings and reduce issues related to misplaced passes.
The policy was also revised to address concerns regarding improper or unintended use of passes. The policy additionally includes further options for residents on obtaining parking passes other than the use of the RFID. Finally, section 2.7. was edited to eliminate portion of line 51 as it was not applicable.
