LW Baptist will review the Bible’s promises on Sunday, Sept. 6, at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.

Israel’s existence shows God’s faithfulness. Asked for evidence of God, the Catholic writer and philosopher Blaise Pascal answered, “the Jewish people.”

Despite millennia of suffering worldwide, Israel endures both as a nation and in dispersion. God will not allow the elimination of the people of Israel, because “the Lord will provide.”

That’s God’s promise, and so Abraham named Israel’s Mount Moriah “Jehovah jireh,” the Lord will provide.
