Beach Boys’ Al Jardine will perform Oct. 11

Leisure World residents are invited to enjoy an evening of classic California music during a special bus trip to see Al Jardine, founding member of The Beach Boys, at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m.

Al Jardine helped create the unmistakable sound of The Beach Boys and performed on some of the most enduring songs of the 1960s.

The Oct. 11 concert will give fans a chance to hear the harmonies and melodies that helped define a generation, performed by one of the artists who was there from the beginning. Backed by Brian Wilson’s longtime touring band, Jardine will bring the timeless music and California sound of The Beach Boys to the Cerritos Center stage.

Tickets are $99 per person and include concert admission and round-trip bus transportation from Leisure World.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 8 a.m. at the Recreation Office and online at www. lwsb.com/special-events. Residents interested in attending are encouraged to purchase tickets early, as space is limited.
