Seal Beach Animal Care Center Amphitheater Fundraiser
The Seal Beach Animal Care Center will collect donations at the Amphitheater concert today, Aug. 27, from 6-7:30 p.m.
Volunteers will accept cash donations for pets’ veterinary expenses as well as items from the following wishlist:
• Dogs: Science Diet dry dog food (Small Bites and Adult); Science Diet canned dog food (chicken flavor); squeaky and strong chewer dog toys; Pill Pockets; nylon dog leads (5- and 6-feet long); Kuranda shelter beds.
• Cats and kittens: Friskies canned cat food (pate and shreds in gravy) and Fancy Feast canned kitten food (turkey, beef or chicken flavors preferred); Purina One Sensitive Systems dry cat food; Purina One Kitten dry food; Feline Pine pellets; any clay unscented non-clumping litter; Advantage topical flea treatment.
• General: Ziploc food storage bags (snack, sandwich, quart and gallon-size); disposable drinking cups (8-ounce size); trash bags (13, 33, 39 and 45-gallon size); paper towels; gift cards from Amazon, PetSmart, Petco and/or Chewy.
LW resident Jim Campbell adopted 4-year-old Daisy from SBACC earlier this year.
