Over 75 people celebrated summer and diversity with dancing and food

JOYFUL LINE DANCE

Over 75 people attended the Joyful Line Dance Clubs summer line dance party on July 23. Everyone had a great time over dancing and lunch. The club’s goal remains the same—to unite different cultures of this vibrant community through social gatherings and dancing.

The club meets on Thursdays in Clubhouse 2 from 10 a.m.-noon. The first hour of the class is for beginners to intermediate dancers. After a brief break, the second hour of the class is for more advanced dancers. People are welcome to stay for the full class to become more familiar with the dances. Between NakSoo Kim, Albert Comia and other volunteers who step in to teach, the club has seen a steady attendance weekly.

People must be members of the club to take classes, and sign in with their names, Mutual and unit numbers. Annual membership is $20 and cannot be prorated. Exercise shoes are recommended. Everyone is welcome.
