Scrabble Club plays in CH 3

The Leisure World Scrabble Club meets every Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 5. New members are welcome.

The club met on the first three Wednesdays of July. There were 24 scores above 300 and 11 bingos (i.e. the use of all seven tiles in one move).

Suthy Edgar led with six scores over 300 and seven bingos. One of her totals was a 366 in a three-way game. The range of her scores was from 322-430.

Diane Seeger and Larry Edgar also had six scores higher than 300. Seeger had two bingos and a range from 316-408. Edgar, who had one bingo, had scores ranging from 325-404.

Donna Perkins exceeded 300 three times, with a range from 327-362. Sylvia Makus posted scores of 306 and 333, with one bingo. Jim Schneiderman recorded a score of 341.
