National Night Out Event

SEAL BEACH POLICE

The Seal Beach Police Department will host a free national night out event on Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 6-8 p.m. at Eisenhower Park, 820 Ocean Ave., Seal Beach. On this day, communities across America come together to take a stand against crime, drugs and disorder in their neighborhoods.

This year’s event provides an opportunity for the Seal Beach Police Department to enhance crime prevention efforts by promoting cooperative relationships and reinforcing the need for community involvement. The event will feature:

• SWAT vehicles and police motorcycles

• Mobile command post tours

• Orange County Fire Authority equipment and booth

• Mobile petting zoo and face painting
