Club welcomes newcomers
KARAOKE CLUB
The Karaoke Club’s Wednesday karaoke nights in Clubhouse 1 are a happy place to share songs with friends and neighbors from 5:30-9:30 p.m.
On July 15, Shirley Dammeyer proudly introduced her brother, Jerry, and the audience enjoyed his powerful rendition of “Hallelujah.” Pizza and birthday cake made the evening even more special as the club celebrated members Elinor Petolleti and Marty Miller. Walt and Sue Piippo always delight with their wonderful duets, while the audience had fun singing along with David Noble’s lively “All Shook Up.” Lori Chamberlin soothed with a beautiful Hawaiian melody. Each week, about 35 residents are eager to add their song to the evening’s entertainment. The club enjoys welcoming new singers and familiar performers introducing fresh songs.
To polish a favorite tune or try something new, join the club for rehearsals every Monday from 1-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 6.
