Hazardous and E-waste Disposal

Leftover household products such as paints, cleaners, oils, batteries and pesticides require special disposal. The disposal of household hazardous waste at the 1.8-Acre site is prohibited.

Residents can dispose of their toxic waste at any of Orange County’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection Centers. The closest one to Leisure World is located at 17121 Nichols Lane, Gate 6, Huntington Beach. It is open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday (closed on major holidays). Proof of county residence may be requested.

E-waste such as TVs, tablets, cell phones and computers can also be taken to this collection center.
