2026-27 Mutual directors seated at the Presidents Council meeting
MUTUAL ELECTIONS
The 2026 annual election season has concluded in Leisure World. Mutual 17 was the last one on the schedule to hold its annual ballot counting meeting. Comprised of 126 units, it turned in 78 ballots for a 62% participation. That won Mutual 17 the annual Every Vote Matters trophy with most ballots returned.
Next in line was Mutual 7 with 384 units and 61% participation, and Mutual 10 with 276 units and 60% participation.
Of 6,608 total LW units, 3,421 ballots, or 52%, were received. Mutual elections are held annually and LW residents/owners are always encouraged to cast their ballots, as everyone’s participation in the election process is crucial to the future of this community.
