Pastor Dan Wilderman will bring a message to the Assembly of God congregation titled “Pray It!” from 2 Chronicles 7:14 on Sunday, July 5.

This is a familiar passage of scripture, calling God’s people to humility and repentance. As American Christians continue to celebrate the nation’s 250th birthday, they must put aside the noise of political rhetoric and refocus their attention on the only one who is the answer to all needs. Assembly of God encourages believers to turn the common phrase around and declare “Bless God, America.”

Bible study resumes in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, on Wednesday, July 8, at 10 a.m., with the last session in the series on the Holy Spirit, “Redemptive Suffering.” Many have a hard time reconciling how a loving God can allow suffering. This session speaks to the questions even long-time believers wrestle with.

Leisure World Assembly of God meets Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby. The Bible study is on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.
