The Dancing Feet Club to celebrate 12th anniversary June 28 in CH 2

On Sunday, June 28, the Dancing Feet Club will celebrate its 12th anniversary at6:15p.m. in Clubhouse 2. The theme ofthe event is Hawaiian night. Club members will entertain with two newline dances, “Candida” and “My Little Grass Shack.”

The Dancing Feet Club started with a handful of ballroom and line dancers, and has seen an increase in membership everyyear. The club’s original members remain loyal to date. The club’s mission is to continue bringing together dancers from Leisure World and nearby communities, who share a passion for line and ballroom dancing.

The Dancing Feet Club meets on Mondays for line dance lessons and practice from 6:15-8:15 p.m., and every fourth Sunday for a social (ballroom) and line dancing from 6-9:30 p.m. Both classes are held in Clubhouse 2. Those who have passion for dancing are invited. Come dressed for the occasion and bring favorite snacks and drinks. Alcohol is not allowed. Admission is free.
