June 7 gospel recital well attended

WORSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Many residents joined the multi-ethnic gospel recital on June 7. During the recital, the groups sang “Down On My Knee,” “Old Rugged Cross,” “I Have Found A Friend In Jesus,” “Why Me Lord,” “Precious Lord, Take My Hand” and “When We All Get To Heaven.”

Gospel songs were performed with harmonica, trumpet, ukulele, guitar, violin and piano.

Participants expressed appreciation for the opportunity to celebrate their shared Christian heritage while honoring their diverse cultural backgrounds. With enthusiastic response and strong attendance, organizers announced plans to host a larger gospel gathering in the future, providing even more opportunities for music, worship and community engagement.
