Senior Pastor Rev. Yong Jang-Young, delivered a message centered on Acts 2:42–47 to LW Korean Community Church (LWKCC). He reflected on the work of the Holy Spirit that descended upon the early church and the direction today’s church should move forward.

LWKCC celebrated its anniversary on June 7. Established under God’s guidance in June 2017, the church began with a prayer and a vision: to sow God’s will in this land and bear the fruit of the Gospel.

The church has completed the renovation of its sanctuary pulpit. “This newly refurbished pulpit not only elevates the dignity of our worship services but also enables us to present various visual materials more effectively through a large 100inch screen,” said Rev. Young. A YouTube livestream account for church services has been established, allowing congregates who are unable to attend in person to join anywhere, at any time.

Today, June 11, at 7 p.m., a World Cup group stage match between Korea and the Czech Republic will be streamed in the main sanctuary. Members can gather together to cheer on the Korean team.

On June 14, a charity concert will be held during LWKCC’s usual Sunday service to support the visually impaired through music, to achieve this year’s goal: providing sight-restoring surgeries for 100 individuals. “The church gains greater strength and experiences even deeper grace when we gather together,” Rev. Young said. “He encouraged people to participate in the upcoming and “to enjoy the abundant grace and blessings that God has prepared for us.”

LWKCC holds a worship service every Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in the sanctuary at 14000 Church Place. The early morning prayer service is held in the sanctuary at 6 a.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
