Leisure World Assembly of God meets Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby. The concept of the kingdom of God is the focus of the parable studied this week. The kingdom of God is often perceived as exclusively spiritual. Is there a physical component to the kingdom of God? Pastor Chuck Franco will give a sermon titled “The Kingdom of God,” from Matthew 13:11 in the Sunday morning service on June 14.

The Wednesday Bible study is at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, continuing the series on the Holy Spirit with the lesson “Prophecy.” A desire to know what the future holds has been part of the human psyche since the beginning. Part of the function of the Holy Spirit in the Christian life is the gift of prophecy. This week’s lesson instructs and explains this gift and its proper place in the church community. Pastor Tyler Staton will give a video lesson, moderated by Pastor Chuck during the class discussion, which will be guided by study questions.
