Pickleball lessons are Wednesdays

The pickleball courts behind Clubhouse 2 are open to residents from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. every day. Players should use the sign-in sheet before play. Play is limited to Leisure World residents.

Beginner’s instruction is available at the courts every Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. Paddles and balls are provided, though players should wear sturdy court shoes.

Instruction varies during the month with the first Wednesday being for beginners, where they can learn how to use the paddle, basic rules and basic shots. The second and third Wednesday training is focused on the serve and volley plays with various drills, while the fourth and fifth Wednesday of the month is for positioning and advanced skills.
