Community Church

Many people are longing for community these days, and more and more people do not think of the church as a place for worthwhile community. Community Church in Leisure World strives to do things differently and welcomes those who have been hurt or judged by people in the church.

Community Church is located inside Leisure World by St. Andrews Gate at 14000 Church Place.

This week is Trinity Sunday, May 31—a time in the life of the church when believers look at the ancient understanding of God as three in one: God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. Community Church has been looking at the trinity for the past two weeks because people are also a represented part of the Trinity: God, humanity, and Holy Spirit. The church will look at both the creation of humanity in Genesis, God’s “very good creation,” and how people are to be sent into the world to reveal God’s love for God’s creation.
