Pickleball Club
Pickleball is an active sport that has attracted a number of Pickleball Club members.
Beginner’s instruction is available at the courts every Wednesday at 10 a.m. Paddles and balls are provided, and players should wear sturdy court shoes.
Instruction varies during the month, with the first Wednesday being for beginners, where they can learn how to use the paddle, basic rules and basic shots. The second and third Wednesdays of training are focused on serve and volley plays with various drills. The fourth and fifth Wednesdays of the month are for positioning and advanced skills.
The pickleball courts are located behind Clubhouse 2. The courts are open to residents from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. every day. There is a sign-in sheet that players should sign before play each day. Play is limited to Leisure World residents.
