LW Men’s Golf League

Twelve players of the LW Men’s Golf League met at the River View Golf Course on May 11.

Nine of the 12 golfers shot net under par with several remarkable scores. There were five birdies, one each by Gary Stivers, Clay Fisher, Jim Goltra, Seon Kim and Dave LaCascia.

Closest to the pin on the 140-yard par 3 second hole was Goltra, and on the ninth hole was Stivers. LaCascia and Sam Choi tied for fewest putts for the A flight, and Won Park had fewest in the B.

A flight winners: Stivers, first place; LaCascia, second; Kyle Van, third; Goltra and Fisher, fourth; Jae Choi, fifth; Seon Kim, sixth; Bruno Santillo, seventh; Sam Choi and Chris Lankford, eighth.

B flight winners: Park, first place; Mike Jimenez, second.

The league plays every Monday at four local courses, all within 15-20 minutes of Leisure World. Advance league reservations are required with a sign-up sheet available at each round. There is a prize pool for each round.
