The long-awaited expansion of LW Korean Community Church’s (LWKCC) pulpit’s renovation was unveiled during the church’s service on May 10.

Senior pastor Rev. Yong Jeong-hyeong delivered a sermon about Hannah’s prayer, as recorded in 1 Samuel 1:11, “In accordance with his divine plan, the Lord looked upon my suffering and remembered me; He did not forget His servant, and He manifested His presence through the tearful cries of a mother.”

This passage served as a reminder of a mother’s boundless love and how the living God establishes the bonds of family relationships among all people.

Among the lessons a mother imparts through her guidance, the act of reflecting together on the truth that all people are children of God, constitutes true instruction in the faith and is, indeed, the work of God. To truly remember one’s mother is to live a righteous life as a child of God.

LWKCC holds a worship service every Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in the sanctuary at 14000 Church Place (next to St. Andrews Gate) to “plant God’s will in the ground.”

People are welcome to join the early morning prayer service led by the senior pastor at the sanctuary at 6 a.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
