Library debuts eBook and audiobook collection

The Leisure World Library is excited to announce that eBooks and eAudiobooks are available now to residents, thanks to a generous donation from the Friends of the LW Library. The electronic collection is debuting with more than 9,000 titles available at launch.

To access the collection users can visit https://libbyapp. com/library/lwsblibrary on their web browser or scan the QR code on their phone. For best results on mobile devices, it is recommended that users download the “Libby” app from their devices’ respective app stores. eReaders such as Kindle and Kobo devices are also supported by Libby.

Library users must sign into Libby with their library card number and pin. Residents who don’t remember their library card number, pin, or who don’t yet have a library card, should call 562-598-2431 or visit the LW Library for assistance. It is open weekdays from 9:30 a.m.5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
