HUI O HULA: HAWAIIAN DANCE CLUB

Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church was the site of an "island getaway" on May 7. People enjoyed delicious food from The Loft as Hui O Hula danced for the lunch bunch. The club thanks Carol Jaeger and the Good Shepherd family for the warm welcome. Several adventurous souls came forward to join the dancers in "What a Wonderful World," which described the day perfectly: wonderful! Beginner hula classes continue on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. upstairs in the Clubhouse 6 Mirror Room, taught by Yoshiko Kishi and Susan Cucci. All are welcome. For more information, text or call 562-544-7697.
