On week 11 of the LW Pool Club’s Monday night league sessions, the second place Bees closed the gap to only three games by winning 11-2 against BDG. This big win for the Bees was a team effort with Gary Monahan and Jennifer Spindler winning six games and B player Steve Mitchell winning five.
The Rustlers edged The Renegades 7-6 with The Rustlers B player Linda Patton winning four of her doubles matches and her nine ball singles match.
The league leading Tumbleweeds continued their winning ways by beating The Burners 8-5. Phuoc Tran led The Tumbleweeds by winning five of his seven games.
In the Wednesday league, The Pool Addicts expanded their lead over the second place Favorites by beating Break & Run 7-6. Jeffrey Furlong led The Pool Addicts by winning five games and both of his singles matches.
Chalk Dirty 2 Me beat The Favorites 8-5. Frank Sablan won five games and both of his singles matches for Chalk Dirty 2 Me.
The Predators moved up in the standings by beating The Rack & Rollers 8-5. Gary Snow, who uses a Predator pool cue, led The Predators by winning six of his first seven games.
There are certain things that virtually all professional pool players do. If they are right-handed, their shooting hand is directly under their elbow and their hand is directly above their right foot. Their cue is very close to their chin, so that they can easily see the point of contact with both the object ball and where they will hit the cue ball. They also frequently chalk their cues.
