The LW Library is excited to announce the upcoming slate of authors who will be visiting the community to speak with interested readers. From June to October, the library will host five different authors.
On June 12, Carolyn Huynh will speak about her novels, including her NPR- and Good Morning America-selected debut, “Fortunes of Jaded Women.”
On July 10, Donovan Kemper, author and podcaster, will speak about his Ghostwriter Mystery series, including his latest, “Sweet Spot,” for fans of Agatha Christie.
On Aug. 7, Rose Molina will speak about her coming-of-age novel set amidst the backdrop of the U.S. during the Vietnam War.
On Sept. 4, Sophie Stava will discuss her domestic thriller and Good Morning America book club selection, “Count My Lies”— soon to be a television series on Hulu.
On Oct. 2, Lisa See, the New York Times bestselling author of acclaimed and beloved historical fiction novels, will speak about her new book, “Daughters of the Sun and Moon.”
A selection of books from each author are available to borrow from the library. Pick up a reminder slip with a list of all the events at the library.
Excluding Carolyn Huynh’s presentation, which will be held at Veterans Plaza, all other events are at Clubhouse 4, and all five events will begin at 11 a.m.
Following each presentation, a short Q& A session will be hosted, and then the author will be available to sign books. Refreshments will also be provided to those in attendance while supplies last. Books will be available for purchase.
The fi rst speaker is Carolyn Huynh, author of “Fortunes of Jaded Women” and “Fetal Position.”
