Cinco de Mayo: Live Mariachi in CH 1
Residents are invited to enjoy an evening of live mariachi music, dancing and festive food during the Cinco de Mayo celebration on Tuesday, May 5 from 5-7 p.m. at Clubhouse 1.
The celebration will feature Mariachi Tierra Mia, a Los Angeles-based ensemble known for its vibrant sound and experienced musicianship. Established in 2017, the coed group has performed in venues around the world. Its work has been featured in the New York Times, recorded with T.I. and accompanied Los Tigres del Norte.
Taco Surf will serve two taco plates with rice and beans for $10, and virgin margaritas will be available for $5. Presale “Fast Pass” food tickets are available at the Recreation Office. Residents who purchase presale tickets can skip the line and receive their food more quickly during the event.
A shuttle will run between the Amphitheater parking lot and Clubhouse 1 beginning at 4:30 p.m.
