The LW Democratic Club wants to continue the momentum that the Prop 50 canvassers in Leisure World had in the upcoming primary. The club will host two training sessions with morning and afternoon meeting options. Those who missed out on Prop 50 canvassing, or are new to Leisure World and want to be involved, contact Jane Brittingham at janebrittingham51@gmail.com or Kathy Moran at kmoran97@yahoo.com.

The next membership meeting will be held Wednesday, April 22, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 1:30 p.m. with two speakers who are candidates for the Superior Court of California, Orange County: Judge Ami Sheth Sagel and Robert Mestman.

Mestman is a candidate for the open seat of Superior Court Office No. 13. He brings over 24 years of experience as a criminal prosecutor and is currently an Orange County senior deputy district attorney.

People are welcome to come to the meeting early, bring a lunch, and enjoy visiting with other like-minded individuals. Light refreshments will be provided.
