FOURTH OF JULY
All are invited to celebrate Independence Day at the Golden Rain Foundation’s annual Fourth of July event on Friday, July 4, from 10 a.m.2 p.m. in and around Clubhouse 4.
Get ready for a fun-filled day starting with a classic car show presented by the Silver Fox Classic Car Club in the Clubhouse 4 parking lot.
Inside the clubhouse, shop oneof- a-kind handmade items at the craft club show, featuring work for sale by the Lapidary & Jewelry Club, Art League, Clay Crafters, Leisure World Woodshop and the Korean Traditional Painting Club.
The festivities will also feature the popular Rollin’ Thunder Golf Cart Parade followed by live entertainment as Mark Barnett and his band, The Black & White Knights, take the stage with “Revisiting the Orbison Years.” Roy Orbison fans are invited to dance and sing along to favorite hits of the 1950s and 1960s.
Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ, Koffel’s, Baby’s Burgers OC and Scooter’s Italian Ice will serve up delicious eats for purchase throughout the day.
