Donation event is March 15

SALVATION ARMY

The Salvation Army will return to the Amphitheater parking lot on Saturday, March 15, from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. to collect donations.

The trucks will accept donations of clothing, furniture and various household items. Residents are encouraged to take this opportunity to free themselves from unwanted possessions and clutter and in turn support The Salvation Army’s work in the community.

The Salvation Army cannot accept large bulky furniture pieces, mattresses and used medical equipment. It cannot come to a resident’s unit to pick up any donation, people must bring it to the truck.

Donation bags are available at all clubhouses, the library and the News Office. February’s event filled two and a half trucks to capacity. For more information, call Mike Banfield at 818-357-3327.
