Tickets on Sale: Mother’s Day Brunch

The GRF Recreation Department will host a special brunch to honor Leisure World mothers on Saturday, May 11, in Clubhouse 4 at 11 a.m., the day before Mother’s Day. The event will be catered by Country Gardens Caterers. This is always a huge success, and is expected to sell out this year, so now is the time to drop hints to family members who would like to treat mom. An elegant repast includes an egg and sausage strata, strawberry crepes, fresh fruit and pastry platters, sparkling cider and more. Moms and guests will be serenaded by classical harpist Pheobe Madison Schrafft.

Reservations are on sale for $45 and are available at the Recreation Office in Building 5. Those who want to buy a table of eight ($325) or sit with a group should inform the Recreation coordinator when purchasing.
