A goldsmith, melting and purifying gold over a flame, was asked when it would be ready. “When I can see my face in it,” was the reply. Likewise the suffering saint Job said, “When he has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.”

Faith, believers are told, is the victory that overcomes the world. LW Baptist will focus on the faith that Job spoke of on Sunday, March 12, at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 4.

The Christian Women's Bible Study will meet on Monday, March 13, at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 6. The Energizers group will meet on Wednesday, March 15, at 3 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 1, for prayer and a Psalm-reading on God as a refuge and strength for believers.
