Assembly of God

Service/Gathering Times:

Sunday morning at 10:30 in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Wednesday morning Bible study is at 10 in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Hymn Sing is held on fourth Sunday at 6 p.m. in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby.

Sermon for this Week:

There are few things that feel as welcoming as walking through one’s own front door after a long trip. Suitcases are dropped and shoes are kicked off. There is peace and relief from the activity of the trip just ended. Perhaps a loved one or a dear pet awaits. Gratitude for the familiar washes away the stress of travel.

The last session in the series titled“What is Truth?” relates to end times and what Christians and non-Christians can expect as recorded in scripture. 2 Peter 3:13 promises “A place prepared for the righteous.”

Never was a place so perfect prepared than the one prepared by God for those who have obtained righteousness through Jesus. Cap off this in-depth series by celebrating this glorious promise.

Bible Study: “Jesus’s Farewell Message,” a study by Francis Chan, leads students through the pre-Easter season by looking at Jesus’s final words and activities with the disciples. It is an intimate look at Christ and his final days here on earth.
