Hui O Hula, the Leisure World Hawaiian dance group, offers hula lessons twice a week. On Tuesday, class is held in the mirror room upstairs at Clubhouse 6. On Thursday, class meets outdoors between the Library and Clubhouse 3 at Veterans Plaza. Both classes start at 1 p.m. Instructor Jojo Weingart welcomes all. There are ample room and chairs. At the May 30 Gong Club game show, guests wore club colors blue, orange and gold. Everyone walked away a winner with house gifts of colorful bead necklaces, American flags and kazoos. Bad dad jokes at the open mic contest granted winners of first, second and third place with oversized coffee mugs. Participants in the Drop Dead Chicken race won chicken salt and pepper shakers.
