Cribbage Club

The Cribbage Club meets every Tuesday at noon in Clubhouse 1. Refreshments are served each week from noon-12:15. Anyone arriving by 12:15 will be assured a place to play. Each player pays $1, and those finishing in the top four scores will be awarded prize money the following week. A total of seven games are played. Monday Night Bunco Club

Bunco is an easy and fun dice game where players try to score the most points. The Monday Night Bunco Club plays on the second and fourth Mondays every month in Clubhouse 3, Room 1, at 6 p.m. sharp. LW Women’s Golf Club

A total of 40 women of the LW Women’s Golf Club participated in the weekly golf tournament on June 10. Play for the day was low gross, low net and birdies. A flight winners: Ann Tran and Sophia Kim, 27, low gross; Hae Lee and Jane Song, 24, low net; birdies: Sophia Kim, 8; Ann Tran, 8; Hae Lee, 8; Jane Song, 2; Nancy Tye, 9; Sandy Derouin, 1; Angela Lee, 1; Cecilia Fectman, 9; Soo Choi, 8.

An overcast but humid morning greeted 49 players of the LW Men’s Golf Club tournament at the Turtle Lake Golf Course on June 11. Each man competed for best net scores (gross score minus handicap), plus four circle holes (shots within a 5-foot radius rewarded), and two closest to the pin holes. Seven golfers of the Leisure World Men’s Golf League challenged the 5,600-yard par 70 River View Golf Course in Santa Ana on June 6. The weather was overcast and stayed that way throughout the round.
