Hundreds attend Art League’s ‘Art in Bloom’ exhibition
Hundreds of exuberant art lovers gathered in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby on June 21 to enjoy the “Art in Bloom” fine art exhibition sponsored by the Leisure World Art League and Gasper Monteer Realty Group. The show featured 123 art pieces including painting, drawing, ceramic, glass, sculpture, jewelry, fabric and photography that wowed the steady flow of patrons.

Lapidary Class: Fused Glass
The Lapidary & Jewelry Club is offering a “Christmas in July” fused glass holiday ornament class on two separate dates: Wednesday, July 9, and Wednesday, July 23. Both classes will be held in Clubhouse 4, in the Jewelry/Lapidary Studio.
Each is a one-day class held from 9:30 a.m.-noon. The cost for the class is $15, which includes all materials needed to make two ornaments.

Garden plots are available for lease. To join, visit the Leisure World website, www.lwsb.com. Navigate to the “Community” tab and then select “Community Gardens Application.” Complete the online form. Applicants will receive a letter from the Recreation Department with their assigned spot.
