BALLET FITNESS The Ballet Fitness Club had a full house on July 12. The club meets on Saturdays from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 6 Mirror Room. Classes are fun and free, and taught by Mel Lockett. Everyone is welcome.

The Dancing Feet Club dancers prepare for the club’s social dance on July 27 by practicing “I Need To Know” and “Comment ça Va” line dances. The latter is a French line dance that is popular around the world. The club’s dance instructor choreographed a new version of the dance for the members to perform and entertain guests. Wa-Rite is a female-only club that meets on Friday mornings from 9-10 in Clubhouse 3, Room 1. Weigh-ins are from 8-8:45. Dues are $10 a year, plus 10 cents upon signing in. LW ID cards must be shown. Women who want support on their weight-loss journey and to meet like-minded people are welcome to stop by no later than 8:45 to weigh-in and complete the registration paperwork. LW BICYCLE GROUP Linda Barker recently moved to Leisure World and joined the Leisure World Bicycle Group. She is a welcome addition to the group and has strong riding skills. The Bicycle Group meets at the North Gate on Sundays with breakfast, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m. Helmets and safe shoes are required.
