On Oct. 25, the LW Pool Club held its monthly tournament in Clubhouse 2. Ten ball was played, with 12 two-person teams playing seven rounds. In the seventh and final round, Paul Shellenberger and Patrick Conlon won their final game to take first place. Fifty golfers complete shotgun scramble on Oct. 27


Fifty golfers from the Leisure World men’s and women’s golf leagues played in a special shotgun scramble tournament on Oct. 27 at the par 54 Turtle Lake Golf Course. Nine teams of five players teed off at 8 a.m. with the goal to have the lowest gross score of the day. Additionally, there were contests for four circle holes and closest to the pin on hole No. 2.
